Apparently Red5 will have initial exclusivity on the Rovio this year - so you won't be able to get it from anywhere else until much later after it's release date. So take a look at their site - it shouldn't be long before they inform us about the release date and price.

From the makers of the Dragonfly Robot, Roboraptor, RoboSapien and the RoboReptile comes a new range of Robots that will blow your mind!

The Rovio Robot is a survellience robot that you can contol over your internet connection via a PC or mobile device. Of course it connects to your PC via Wi-Fi so you can control its path or what it videos.

The scary thing also is that it has a mic so you can drive it around your home and talk to people when you're in another location. I know mobile phones do this as well, but with this your voice will be coming out of the robot! So damn cool if you ask me!

A funnier application is that whilst you drive it around your home you can reinact the scene from Home Alone and talk out loud if to make it sound like people are home - now I just love that thought. Can you imagine being 'out with the lads' and your girlfriend is asleep and you can go "boo!" - classic!

You can also create set routes that it'll follow during the day so it can keep sentry for you!

It is expected they'll sell for around £199 in the UK.

It is expected to be released in September 2008.
